P20 is plastic mold general steel, good integrative mechianical properties,high hardability, and let the steel of the large section dimensionally get the uniform hardness. P20 has the good parabolic optically activity and the surface 90 roughness of the mold is low.if you use the steel as the mold ,you need to quench and temper. if the hardness is 28～35HRC(pre-hardness) you can use it directly when the mold is made after cold processing. it is not only to sure the use of the mold ,but also to resist the deformation in heat treatment.
Main uses :it adapt to large or middle and precision plastic mold and low melting point alloy .(such as tin, zinc, lead, lead alloys)
